I have returned to my copy of CS Arts a number of times and am still impressed with the quality of your publication. I can tell that individuals with a true calling and passion are committed to this work.

I am a teacher of art at a Northland Secondary College and find your magazine both stimulating and inspiring... Please accept my congratulations for a very exciting and informative publication.

A letter from the editor of CS Arts

Dear readers

Our last edition of CS Arts will be mailed in October. We have no plans ourselves to continue the magazine. If others have a similar vision and a sustainable strategy, please let us know.

After a considered process over several months, the Trust Board have decided to move Chrysalis Seed into a new season. Chrysalis Seed aims to help resource artists from a Christian perspective. We will continue this with vision, vigour and perseverance.

As I write, autumn leaves are draping the grey body of the Arts Centre in golden hues. This physical symbol of the arts in Christchurch is itself going through a process of change and fresh vision. All living organisms grow and evolve, Chrysalis Seed among them.

We will continue to run our office from the Christchurch Arts Centre. our library of art/faith resources will still be up there for the use of the public, especially artists. We are researching and developing this website so that it can become an interactive hub for artists.

The October edition of CS Arts will be exploring the theme of death and resurrection. Following this, we hope to compile a book of the best of our articles and interviews. We trust you will enjoy the next two issues, and look forward to your feedback.

If you would like to know more about these changes, do contact me.

Sincerely,

Peter Crothall

Director, Chrysalis Seed Trust
